Steel Carports Built for La Porte and Harris County
La Porte is a city of about 35,000 people in Harris County, about 190 miles from our manufacturing plant in Kilgore, Texas. Tropical systems from the Gulf can bring hurricane-force wind and days of heavy rain. We build each carport from galvanized steel with Sherwin-Williams coated panels, so your cars, trucks and boats stay out of the weather.
You choose the size, leg height and colors, and we build it to match. Add side panels, gable ends or a utility room for storage. A vertical roof is our pick for this area, since it sheds rain fastest and carries the strongest wind rating. Concrete gives the strongest hold, but level ground with auger anchors works well on many rural lots.
Check with the City of La Porte about permit requirements before you build; we supply engineered drawings for the application. Our crews cover La Porte, Deer Park, Seabrook, Pasadena and Taylor Lake Village. Most installs take a single day, and financing is available.
