Every steel carport, garage, and barn we build is engineered to FEMA guidelines and International Code Council (ICC) standards to withstand severe weather across our six-state service area — and backed by real, written warranty coverage on the frame, paint, doors, and wind rating.

What Warranty Comes With My Building?
Every building includes a 1-year maintenance warranty on installation and materials, a 20-year Sherwin-Williams® paint warranty, a frame warranty of 5 years (14-gauge) or 20 years (12-gauge), wind protection up to 120–140 MPH with certified anchors, and door coverage of 90 days to 1 year. Coverage requires certified anchors purchased through East Texas Carports and is voided by unapproved modifications after installation.
Steel Frame Warranty
Frame coverage depends on the steel gauge you choose — both include full replacement and installation up front, then parts-only coverage for the remaining term.

Every color is a Sherwin-Williams® premium powder-coated finish, covering rust prevention on painted sheet metal, color retention, and finish durability.
Not covered: chemical exposure, salt exposure, physical wear (chipping, fading, bubbling), and extreme environmental damage.
Wind Protection
14-gauge frames are rated up to 120 MPH; 12-gauge frames up to 140 MPH — both with certified anchors and bracing purchased through East Texas Carports.
Voids coverage: standard rebar anchors or any customer-supplied anchoring.
Door Coverage
90 days: manufacturing defects, hardware, locks, and sealing.
1 year: sliding latches, handles, and rust under normal use.
Doors must stay properly secured during wind events to maintain coverage.
Snow Load Rating
Every roof is reinforced to a 35 PSF (pounds per square foot) rating, designed to prevent sagging under snow accumulation.
1-Year Maintenance Coverage
Roof leak repairs at panel fastening points, material defect and installation-issue repairs, and rust protection under normal weather exposure — starting from your installation date.
What Voids Your Warranty
Any modification made after installation voids all warranty coverage — unless it receives written approval from East Texas Carports before work begins.
Electrical or plumbing installations
Aftermarket door or window replacements
Interior finishes (shelving, insulation, drywall, wood paneling, storage lofts)
Structural changes to framing or roof systems

How long is the frame warranty on my building?
