RTO Financing
Rent-to-Own Financing for Metal Buildings
Get your steel carport, garage, or barn today with flexible RTO financing — just a 10% deposit, terms from 12 to 60 months, and approval options with or without a credit check.
How Does RTO Financing Work?
Rent-to-own (RTO) financing works in four steps: design your building online to get your price, apply through one of our third-party lenders — a credit-check option or a no-credit-check option — get approved and set your term length and pricing, then make payments where roughly half goes toward your principal and half toward rent until you own the building outright. No-credit-check approval doesn't check a credit score at all, but carries a higher interest rate than credit-checked financing.

RTO Financing FAQ
How much down payment do I need for RTO financing?
Just a 10% deposit — instead of the larger down payment traditional financing typically requires.
Do I need good credit to qualify?
No — you have a choice. Apply through RTO National if you'd rather use a credit-check option (650+ credit score, lower rate), or through Heartland Capital if you want a no-credit-check option that never checks your credit score at all (approval is based on other factors, and the rate is higher than the credit-check option).
How do RTO payments work?
Each payment is split roughly in half: about half goes toward your principal (the ownership portion of your building) and about half goes toward rent. As you make payments over your term, your equity builds until the building is paid off and fully yours — with no early payoff penalty if you want to finish sooner.
Do no-credit-check options cost more?
Yes. Because Heartland Capital's no-credit-check option doesn't check a credit score, it carries a higher interest rate than RTO National's credit-check option. If you qualify for the credit-check route, it will typically cost less over the life of your term.
How long are RTO financing terms?
Terms range from 12 to 60 months, so you can choose a payment schedule that fits your budget.
Can I pay off my building early?
Yes — there are no early payoff penalties, so you're free to own your building sooner.
Who are your RTO financing partners?
We work with RTO National (up to $30,000, 650+ credit score required, standard credit-check rate, based in Greenville, SC) and Heartland Capital (up to $15,000, no credit score checked, higher rate than the credit-check option, based in Mayfield, KY).
How is RTO different from a traditional loan?
RTO uses a flat 10% deposit instead of a variable 10–20% down payment, gives you the choice of a credit-check lender or a no-credit-score-check lender instead of requiring a 650+ credit score across the board, and has a simpler, faster approval process than traditional financing.
