Founded in 2020, our family-owned business takes pride in managing every step of the metal building process. From fabrication to installation, we maintain close control over quality and timelines.
We manufacture high-quality framing and panels right in-house. This allows us to ensure every component meets our strict standards for strength and durability.
Our products are available both through a trusted dealer network and directly to customers. This dual approach gives you flexibility when choosing how to purchase your metal building.
Beyond production, we handle all the details like scheduling, delivery, and installation. Our goal is to make the entire process smooth and hassle-free for you.
Our experienced team operates across multiple states. We expertly coordinate logistics and installations, ensuring each project complies with local codes and regional requirements.
Whether you’re working with a dealer or buying directly, we emphasize efficiency and reliability. Skilled craftsmanship is at the heart of everything we do, delivering metal structures designed to last for years.
The timeline for your custom metal building project typically ranges from 6-16 weeks from initial design to completion, depending on several key factors. The process begins with the design phase, which includes finalizing your building specifications and engineering.
While the majority of our buildings do not require permits, special cases and unique circumstances may require permit drawings and approval processes. Once your design is approved and down payment is received, your project enters our production queue.
Manufacturing time depends heavily on how many buildings are ahead of yours in our production schedule and can range from 4-12 weeks. Your location significantly impacts delivery timing - local deliveries may take just a few days, while distant locations can add 1-2 weeks to the timeline.
Installation typically takes 1-5 days for standard buildings, though larger or more complex structures may require additional time.
Weather conditions, permit approval processes, site preparation requirements, and seasonal demand all affect project timelines. Remote locations may also require additional coordination for delivery logistics.
While our timeline can extend to 16 weeks in exceptional circumstances, this is not normal - we typically strive to maintain a turnaround time of 2-6 weeks for most projects.
Our sales prices are valid as long as the advertisement is actively listed and available. Pricing can change based on material costs, market conditions, and promotional periods, so the advertised price may not be available indefinitely.
However, you can lock in your sales price by placing a 10% down payment on your custom metal building project. Once your down payment is received, your price is guaranteed and will not change regardless of future price adjustments or market fluctuations. This protects you from any potential price increases during the design and manufacturing process.
If you believe you have a warranty claim, please contact our support team directly at (903) 234-8922 ext. 2. A representative will guide you through the process, answer any questions, and help resolve your issue as quickly as possible. No, ground preparation and interior finish work are not included in our turnkey build-out services.
Our focus is on delivering high-quality metal building systems, including manufacturing, scheduling, delivery, and installation.
While we ensure your metal building is expertly constructed, site work like grading, foundation prep, and landscaping must be handled by local contractors.
Interior finishes such as insulation, drywall, and flooring are also the responsibility of specialty contractors.
If you need recommendations or guidance for these services, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Absolutely! We proudly offer bubble reflective insulation to enhance your building’s energy efficiency and comfort.
Our insulation pricing is clearly divided into three key areas: the roof, the sides, and the ends.
This structured pricing approach helps you easily understand and manage costs for each section.
It ensures a transparent and customized insulation solution tailored to your specific building needs.
For vertical paneled buildings with a two-tone finish, an additional charge applies.
In contrast, horizontal panel buildings enjoy a two-tone finish at no extra cost. This allows you to choose the style that best fits your design and budget preferences.
Paint match screws are specially coated to blend seamlessly with your metal roofing or siding panels. These screws are color-matched to your specific panel color, making them virtually invisible once installed for a clean, professional appearance. They cost slightly more due to the custom coating but are available in most standard panel colors.
Regular screws are standard galvanized or stainless steel fasteners without color coating. While they provide the same structural integrity and weather resistance as paint match screws, they remain visible as metallic fasteners against your colored panels but offer a more economical option.
For the best aesthetic results, we recommend paint match screws for visible areas of your installation. Regular screws work well for hidden areas or when cost is the primary concern.
Horizontal roofs feature panels that run parallel to the ground, with seams running horizontally across the roof surface. This orientation creates a distinctive linear appearance and can work well on lower-pitched roofs.
However, horizontal installation requires more careful attention to water drainage and sealing at the horizontal seams to prevent water infiltration.
Vertical roofs have panels that run from the ridge to the eave, with seams running vertically down the roof slope. This is the most common and recommended orientation for metal roofing because it provides superior water drainage - water naturally flows down the vertical seams rather than pooling at horizontal joints.
Vertical installation also offers better structural performance, easier installation, and improved weather resistance.
The choice between horizontal and vertical orientation depends on your roof pitch, aesthetic preferences, and local weather conditions. Vertical installation is generally preferred for most applications due to its superior water management and structural benefits.
As stated in your signed order paperwork, all down payment deposits are non-refundable.
This policy ensures you understand that once your order is confirmed, the deposit cannot be returned under any circumstances.
Please review your agreement carefully for full details regarding this policy.
Manufacturing
All of our metal buildings are manufactured in-house by East Texas Carports at our dedicated facility in Kilgore, Texas. We fabricate both the framing and panels using high-quality materials, including Sherwin-Williams powder-coated steel.
By handling the manufacturing ourselves, we ensure strict quality control, faster turnaround times, and reliable craftsmanship you can trust.
In addition to serving direct customers, we also manufacture buildings for a trusted network of dealers located throughout our service area. These dealers rely on our expertise and consistent product quality to deliver strong, dependable metal buildings to their own customers.
Whether you order directly through us or through one of our dealers, your building is made by the same skilled team at East Texas Carports.
For residential metal buildings, we offer a maximum width of 30 feet and a height of 16 feet.
For commercial metal buildings, we can build structures up to 60 feet wide and 18 feet tall.
Lean-to structures can be built up to 16 feet wide.
Our metal buildings are built with durability as a top priority. We use standard 14-gauge tubing combined with 29-gauge sheet metal to create strong, reliable structures suitable for both residential and commercial projects.
For customers needing extra strength and longevity, we offer premium upgrades to 12-gauge tubing and 26-gauge sheet metal. These thicker materials provide enhanced reinforcement, ideal for harsher environments or heavy-duty use.
Each metal panel is crafted from high-quality Sherwin-Williams powder-coated coils. We press these coils into panels right here in-house, allowing us to maintain strict quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
This ensures every panel delivers superior weather resistance and long-lasting performance. The result is a dependable metal building designed to protect your investment and stand strong for years to come.
For customers who choose to pick up their materials directly from our manufacturing plant, we offer a 10% discount on the purchase price.
This discount is designed to support those who prefer the DIY approach and want to handle installation themselves.
By choosing self-installation, you have full control over the building process and can save on delivery and labor costs.
However, please note that buildings installed by the customer come with no warranty.
This means any issues or maintenance needs resulting from the installation will be your responsibility.
We encourage you to carefully consider the benefits of professional installation before opting for self-installation.
If you have questions or need guidance on this option, our team is here to help.
Any roll-up doors or frame-outs/cut-outs added to the side of your building will incur an additional fee.
This fee varies depending on the size of the door or cut-out, so the final cost will be based on the exact dimensions required.
The additional charge covers the extra labor involved in creating these openings, which requires precise work to maintain the building’s integrity.
It also includes the cost of materials needed to properly reinforce and finish the area around the door or cut-out.
Our team ensures these features are seamlessly integrated, maintaining both functionality and the overall appearance of your structure.
If you have questions about adding doors or cut-outs, we’re happy to provide detailed estimates and guidance.
Each 45-degree cut incurs an additional fee of $75 per cut. This fee reflects the extra time and skill needed to perform these angled cuts accurately.
Making a 45-degree cut requires more precision than a standard straight cut. Our team uses specialized tools and equipment to ensure the angle is exact and clean.
The additional charge also covers the careful labor involved. Properly executing these cuts is essential to maintain the strength and quality of the final product.
We hold ourselves to strict quality standards, so every angled cut must meet these requirements before it leaves our shop.
If you have questions about cutting options or fees, feel free to reach out to our team for more information.
Mobile Home Anchors (MHA) are 30 inches long and corkscrewed into dirt or gravel. Installed inside the building’s base rail, they should be spaced every 10 feet to ensure structural stability.
Asphalt Anchors are also 30 inches long and designed specifically for asphalt surfaces. Installed similarly to mobile home anchors, they are placed every 10 feet to secure the foundation effectively.
For concrete surfaces, we use Concrete Anchors measuring 6 inches long with a ¼-inch diameter. It’s recommended that the concrete slab extends at least 3 inches beyond the building’s dimensions on all sides to reduce the risk of cracking.
Concrete anchors are typically installed every 5 feet. Please note, East Texas Carports is not liable for concrete damage caused by normal anchoring.
Rebar Anchors are 3-foot-long straight rods ideal for dirt or gravel. Installed through the base rail into the ground, they serve as a temporary anchoring solution.
These anchors do not come with a wind warranty and should be spaced every 10 feet.
If you have questions about the right anchoring method for your metal building or need expert advice, our team is here to help!
Delivery and Install
Your concrete pad provides the foundation for your building and must meet specific size requirements for proper installation.
Minimum pad dimensions: The concrete should match your building's footprint exactly. For example, an 18' x 21' x 9' building requires an 18' x 20' pad (pad length is 1 foot shorter than roof length).
Recommended sizing: Add 3 inches on all sides beyond the minimum requirements. This extra margin helps protect your concrete during the anchoring process and provides additional stability.
You're welcome to pour a larger pad if desired—just ensure it meets the minimum specifications above.
Important note: The anchoring process requires drilling into concrete. While our installers use professional techniques, concrete damage during installation is considered normal wear and is not covered under our installation warranty.
We partner with skilled professional installers who handle all our building installations. Our team maintains close communication throughout each project to ensure quality results.
Potential scheduling factors that may affect your installation include:
- Weather conditions
- Equipment or vehicle issues
- Traffic delays
- Crew availability
- Unexpected site conditions
We commit to keeping you informed of any schedule changes as soon as possible.
Our scheduling policy: Installation dates are estimates based on current conditions. While we work diligently to meet projected timelines, delays due to circumstances beyond our control do not qualify for compensation or discounts.
Your patience helps us maintain our focus on delivering the quality installation your project deserves.
Your building components arrive on specialized trailers designed specifically for metal construction delivery.
Our professional installation crews drive these custom rigs directly to your site, eliminating the need for separate delivery and installation teams.
Each trailer comes fully loaded with:
- Steel panels and framing
- Concrete anchors
- Installation hardware
- Professional-grade tools and ladders
This integrated approach ensures nothing gets lost in transit and your installation crew has everything needed to complete your project efficiently.
Most installations are completed in a few hours to one full day.
Some projects may take longer due to:
- Site preparation needs
- Complex terrain or access issues
- Custom design requirements
- Weather delays
Multi-day projects are rare but may be necessary for larger structures or challenging conditions.
Our priority is always quality over speed. We take the time needed to ensure your structure is built correctly and meets our high standards—because your satisfaction is what matters most.
Our installation crews typically load equipment on Saturday mornings and begin projects Monday through Friday.
This schedule allows our team to enjoy Saturday afternoons and Sundays with their families before traveling to job sites across our service area.
Weekend installations are available for special circumstances when needed. We've accommodated Saturday projects in the past and remain flexible for urgent situations.
Our commitment is delivering exceptional installations while supporting our team's work-life balance—because well-rested installers provide better results for your project.
Our installation crews are fully self-sufficient and arrive at every job site equipped with portable generators. This ensures we can complete your metal building project even in remote areas or locations without immediate access to electricity.
However, having onsite electrical power available can offer several key advantages that enhance both the efficiency and quality of the installation process.
With access to electricity, our crews can operate air compressors, drills, and other power tools at full capacity—without relying on generator output limits. This results in smoother, more consistent performance from the equipment we use.
Key benefits of having onsite power include:
-
Faster installation times due to uninterrupted tool usage
-
More reliable and consistent performance of construction equipment
-
Reduced noise levels compared to gas-powered generators
-
Lower fuel costs and emissions, making your project more eco-friendly
While we’re fully capable of completing your project with generators alone, providing electrical access can help us deliver a quieter, cleaner, and quicker installation—getting you into your new building even sooner.
