HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR METAL BUILDING INSTALLATION
A little planning makes installation day fast and smooth. Before our crew arrives, walk through this checklist:
- Check local permits and HOA rules. Some cities and counties require a building permit or engineered drawings. Ask us about certified buildings if your area requires them.
- Choose a level site. Your installation surface should be level within a few inches. Uneven ground can delay installation or require additional leveling.
- Pick your foundation. We install on concrete, asphalt, or ground (dirt/gravel), with the right anchors for each — concrete anchors, asphalt anchors, mobile home anchors, or rebar.
- Clear the area. Remove vehicles, debris, and overhead obstacles, and make sure our truck and trailer can reach the site.
- Locate utilities. Call 811 before your build so buried lines are marked before anchors go in the ground.
